Automation shouldn't need a grant. Access the industry-leading tools that leading pharma and biotechs use for lab automation, at no cost.
You've seen the workcells at the conferences. The six-figure setups running in the big biotechs. And you've done the math on what that would cost your lab. So you keep pipetting by hand, not because you want to, but because the alternative was never built for you. Until now.
Full Platform Access
The whole platform, not a trial. Connector Library, Artifactory, GroundControl, and the full developer toolchain, the same stack industry runs on.
Self-Service
Start on your own terms. Documentation, example repos, and templates get you automating in code from day one. No waiting on onboarding.
Contribute Connectors
Build once, share with everyone. Connectors you write flow back to the open-source CDK, broadening coverage for the whole community.
The Smarter Way to Conduct Academic Research
Reproducibility
Run your lab with full data lineage, so reviewers can trace your work exactly.
Throughput
Automate repetitive sample prep, so you can spend your time with actual science.

What Academics Want to Know
Scientists ask good questions. If yours isn't here, reach out!
Not necessarily. The platform is Python-driven, but example repos and templates mean a lab scientist can adapt a workflow without building one from scratch. Teams usually have one person who goes deeper on the code while everyone else reuses what's there.
Your work is portable. Workflows are code you keep, and the CDK is open-source, so nothing you build is trapped, and you stay independent.
It's a fair exchange. We cover the hosting; you get the platform. In return, connectors you build broaden the open-source library, your lab becomes a reference, and students get exposure to lab automation during their education.
No. You get the full platform, the same connector library, GroundControl, and developer tools used in commercial biotech and pharma labs, under fair-use limits. The only things reserved for paid engagements are onboarding and training.
The program is for academic biofoundries, publicly-funded labs, and university labs.
